Forgive me for I have sinned. Not really. I just haven\u2019t been keeping up on blog posts and I\u2019m long overdue to write about a few things we\u2019ve done recently. One of those things is to check out the food from the Bistro at San Antonio Winery<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our friend, Dustin DesJardins, is the man behind the food and we\u2019ve enjoyed his creations prior to joining San Antonio Winery<\/a> but had not been in to see him here until recently. Here\u2019s their wording on the Bistro from their website:<\/p>\n

\u201cOur bistro is open daily from 11:00AM until 5:00PM<\/span>. We offer an array of appetizers, pasta entrees, pizza, salads, sandwiches, soup & more. Seating is casual in our Heritage Room, Covered Patio Alfresco, or open air Fountain Patio. Call for additional information & daily offerings. \u201cTo Go Orders\u201d are most welcomed!\u201d<\/p>\n

So, we met up with a few friends (Pat, Steve, Janet, Jeff) a little while back and enjoyed the Chicken Caesar Salad, the Arugula Pesto Pizza (chicken, mushroom, arugula), and the Combination Pizza (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion, peppers). We also enjoyed a couple of bottles of wine because, you know, that\u2019s what we do.<\/p>\n

The food was fantastic. They knocked the pizzas out of the park, in my opinion. We definitely look forward to going back. Thanks to Dustin and his team for taking such great care of us. It was a beautiful, rare, sunny day on the patio of San Antonio Winery. We\u2019ve been nailed by rain\u2026but I\u2019m not complaining.<\/p>\n

Anyways, go check out the Bistro at San Antonio Winery for food option away from downtown but conveniently close to downtown. And once you try them out, feel free to shoot me an email thanking me for the tip.<\/p>\n
