This time of year, the hills are green from all the rain we\u2019ve had but the vines that line the walk up have not yet seen bud break. Sammy did the walk up and down on his own, which is the second or third time he\u2019s done it. Impressive.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>After spending a little time at the top and letting Sammy run around we decided to head over to Shell Creek Road in search of wildflowers. The drive is beautiful but I was let down in regards to the wildflowers. Granted, we probably should have driven a bit further but all we were seeing were yellow flowers. I\u2019m hoping to see a super bloom one day in person and was hoping to see a little bit of that out there.<\/p>\n<p>That said, it was a fun adventure in our neck of the woods.
