In this episode of Hoot n Annie we tasted a 2009 Sauvignon Blanc from Charity Case<\/a>\u2026but back the train up!! Yes, we are in a hotel room, and yes we still kept this PG. Back to the wine\u2026this Sauv Blanc was nice, but more like a Chardonnay in our opinions. The color, the nose, the palette\u2026all said \u201cHey, I\u2019m a Chard\u201d, but the label was not in agreement.<\/p>\n

We were curious as to what might have been done differently to this wine to make it so much different than a \u201ctypical\u201d Sauv Blanc\u2026that curiosity lasted about 7 minutes, then we decided to just enjoy the wine! And to all the scientific wine writers, that\u2019s the goal\u2026enjoy the wine!! Write about that why don\u2019t ya??<\/p>\n

Now to the really good stuff, Charity Case is a great group doing great things for people with wine and their profits! Napa area winemakers donate their time, their materials and all of their profits to family and children related charities in the Napa area.\u00a0 How cool is that?
