I have known Rich as an acquaintance for a few years now and have had the luxury of going to Terra Mia for a couple of the Fryers Roasts, which are so much fun. Terra Mia is an amazingly stunning property right in the heart of wine country. Let\u2019s get to know Rich a little better. Cheers!<\/p>\n

Matt: Where are you from originally if not from Paso Robles?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rich: Born and raised in Buffalo<\/span>,<\/span> NY<\/span>.<\/span> till 19 yrs old<\/span>,<\/span> then lived in Las Vegas <\/span>for <\/span>20 years<\/span>,<\/span> then Laguna Beach 12 years\u2026 Now, Paso<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Matt: When did you move to Paso wine country?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Full time in Paso since 2012<\/span><\/p>\n

Matt: What brought you to the area?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rich: A random invitation to attend a \u201cWine Festival\u201d in 2005<\/span><\/p>\n

Matt: How long have you owned Terra Mia?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rich: 6 years<\/span><\/p>\n

Matt: What did you do before moving to Paso and running Terra Mia?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rich: A <\/span>N<\/span>etwork Marketing Company called ACN<\/span><\/p>\n

Matt: What is your vision of Terra Mia<\/span>?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Rich: A magical<\/span> representation of Paso Robles beauty that we can share with folks from outside the area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Matt: Wh<\/span>at is the property used for?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rich: We grow grapes, olives, and hold weddings<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Matt: What have been some of your favorite events at Terra Mia?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rich: Fundraising events<\/span>,<\/span> especially the <\/span>Fryers<\/span> Club roast<\/span>s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Matt: What do you love most about this area?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rich: Community\u2026<\/span>f<\/span>ood, <\/span>w<\/span>ine, and fellowship. Along with a strong resemblance of Tuscany<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Matt: What is your least favorite thing about this area?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rich: Lack of <\/span>d<\/span>ining and other infrastructure <\/span>ie<\/span>. Drycleaners, carwash, etc<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Matt: Do you have some favorite spots to hang out in Paso Robles (restaurants, wineries, etc.)?<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Rich: Best spots to hang are <\/span>friends<\/span> homes\u2026<\/span>v<\/span>ery few warm, hospitable spots that create an environment to hang out. Some of our summer concerts at wineries like <\/span>Castoro<\/span> create a nice relaxing afternoon. I do feel it<\/span>\u2019s<\/span> slowly coming around though<\/span>. <\/span>Very nice option to drive to one of our neighboring beach towns or SLO to a better selection of hangouts and dining.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
