Certain situations call for certain wines.\u00a0 Not in the mood for wine?\u00a0 No problem, some situations call for other “stuff”.\u00a0 The moral of the story is to sit back, enjoy life, appreciate the ones your with, and make the most of every moment!<\/p>\n

Here we go…in no particular order!<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In front of a fire on a rainy night, with your favorite person \u2013 Deep, rich Cabernet Sauvignon<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 With friends, enjoying a casual dinner \u2013 Spicy, grungy Pinot Noir<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On the patio of a downtown sports bar, watching the people go by \u2013 a Microbrew with plenty of hops<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A hot summer day, after a stressful day at the office \u2013 chilled, juicy, floral Viognier<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sunday morning brunch, with chosen family \u2013 Mimosas!<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Picnic on the veranda of your favorite winery with a view \u2013 Complex and earthy Mourvedre<\/p>\n

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Playing bocce ball on a Saturday afternoon \u2013 Chilled Syrah (that\u2019s for you, Gary)<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At a Halloween wig party with lots of cool people \u2013 Gin and Tonic, lots of lime!<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Watching Football and eating nachos \u2013 Buttery Chardonnay\/Sassy Zinfandel<\/p>\n

10.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 For no reason at all \u2013 Whatever\u2019s open!<\/p>\n

I’m sure we’ve missed a lot of combos, some close runners up were things like “Cleaning the garage, paired with a cold Bud Light” or the ever-popular “I should stop drinking but I’m going for a little bit more, paired with a bottle of 2-buck Chuck that you forgot you had in the back of the wine rack”.\u00a0 So many things to do in a day…so many wines to enjoy!<\/p>\n
