We stopped to check out Chamisal Vineyards<\/a> in Edna Valley (on Orcutt Rd. in the San Luis Obispo area) and were definitely not disappointed. A gorgeous spot located amongst the rolling hills of vineyards in the \u201cHappiest place on Earth<\/a>\u201d (Oprah said so).<\/p>\n

This place has a bitchin\u2019 patio to hang out on and a very welcoming tasting room. The wines\u2026yes, they have some, and yes they are fantastic! Hoot has been a big Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fan lately and Chamisal completely knocked his socks off\u2026although he wasn\u2019t wearing socks, this is flip flop county!<\/p>\n

They have a fantastic list of wines, which you can see on their website if you click ‘Wines<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n

Pretty cool story, too.\u00a0 The winery has been there for quite some time, but was known as Domaine Alfred. They transitioned to Chamisal in 2008 and have been going strong every since! With a few different lines and styles, they\u2019ve got you covered! Whether it\u2019s their Estate Wines that showcase what their vineyards can do, Small Lot Wines that highlight specific characteristics of some varieties, or even their Stainless Chardonnay, you\u2019ll be sure to find something that hits the spot!<\/p>\n
