CrossFit Pregnant<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Today I wanted to talk about a couple of things that caught my eye when reading some articles on the parenting section of the Huffington Post.<\/p>\n

The first was this article<\/a> about a woman who was pregnant and posted a picture of herself doing a CrossFit maneuver on her Facebook page. Evidently the picture caused quite the stir with many, many people being quite ugly toward her. On the other hand there were many folks that supported her and were encouraging.<\/p>\n

Here\u00e2??s my take:<\/p>\n

Annie did CrossFit during her pregnancy with Sammy. Quite frankly that was nobody\u00e2??s business except ours. As I\u00e2??ve stated before, I am absolutely stunned at the level of ignorance some people display. We didn\u00e2??t want to kill Sammy and I\u00e2??m pretty sure this lady did not want to kill the child she\u00e2??s pregnant with. Most people that are in such good shape go through the necessary medical stuff so they know they are good to continue their workout routines.<\/p>\n

If you do not think that working out during pregnancy or doing more extreme stuff like CrossFit is okay then don\u00e2??t do it. It makes no sense to go after people that choose to do so. Nobody is going after you for not working out so let it be. I really wanted to cuss a lot in this section but I didn\u00e2??t\u00e2?\u00a6I must fast no faxing payday loans<\/a> be growing up.<\/p>\n

The next article (actually a video) I saw was of Louis CK talking about how parents are with their smartphones<\/a>. I thought it was hilarious and well\u00e2?\u00a6reminded me of me although Sammy won\u00e2??t be in a dance performance anytime soon.<\/p>\n

The last one is titled, \u00e2??6 Crazy Questions (and Answers) About Babies<\/a>\u00e2?\u009d. I thought it was pretty funny as well but it also gave some good info for any about-to-be parents and new parents out there.<\/p>\n

Notice I only gave my take on the CrossFit story above. I tend to get most opinionated in the face of opinions that really rub me the wrong way. Probably natural for most of us. I just don\u00e2??t understand why so many people think it is their job to sit back and ridicule, mock, correct, or otherwise attempt to make others feel like shit (sorry, I cussed). As I said, if you don\u00e2??t think CrossFit is good during pregnancy then don\u00e2??t do it. If you think two story houses are dumb then don\u00e2??t buy one. If you hate eggs then don\u00e2??t eat them.<\/p>\n

Why on Earth rip someone apart if they do CrossFit, own a two story home, or eat eggs? Oh\u00e2?\u00a6that\u00e2??s right, the title of \u00e2??God\u00e2?\u009d (or whatever) was recently bestowed upon you. Got it.<\/p>\n

Now mind your own damn business and take care of your own broken family!<\/p>\n
