It\u2019s not dirty diapers since we aren\u2019t dealing with that yet\u2026it\u2019s waiting! And you know what else stinks\u2026\u201dwaiting\u201d to find out what the likelihood of our son having Down Syndrome is.<\/p>\n

This journey originally started with a 1 in 65 chance of Downs which then went to a 1 in 160 chance once the genetic counselor explained our original blood results. After getting the results yesterday on the most recent blood test we have been moved to a less than 1 in 10,000 chance of Downs.<\/p>\n

Yahoo, YeeHaw, and WooHoo!!<\/p>\n

What does all this mean? It means that we get some peace of mind and that our Little Browne Dude (did that sound weird?) has better odds of not having this condition. There\u2019s enough to worry about in the world and although Annie and I were handling it all pretty well, it still takes a toll when you are \u201cwaiting\u201d and \u201cwaiting for results\u201d.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s all we have for now, just wanted to let you know in case you missed this news when we posted it on Little Browne\u2019s Facebook page last night.<\/p>\n

Be sure to stop at some point this weekend and look around\u2026slow it down for just a moment and take it all in. This life flies by\u2026fast, we need to be better about breathing in those moments and appreciating this gift we have. Cheers everyone, have a great Friday and weekend.<\/p>\n
