\"29<\/a><\/p>\n

At today\u2019s doctor appointment Annie found out that she has gained a total of 12 pounds so far in the pregnancy and that the glucose test she took a couple weeks back came in with good results. The only other information was that she measured about 30 weeks pregnant but is 29 weeks along, which simply means the due date may be earlier\u2026who knows? Little Browne will come when he\u2019s good and ready to come.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next doctor appointment will be in two weeks, so it\u2019s every two weeks now instead of every four weeks\u2026this will change to weekly when the due date gets closer. Bottom line, Annie and Little Browne are rockin\u2019 the pregnancy!!<\/span><\/p>\n

\"29<\/a>It\u2019s an interesting time here for myself\u2026I\u2019m excited but not losing my mind and I still feel slightly removed from the situation but I know that will soon change. There\u2019s been all this hype for the last six months and it seems we\u2019re in a kind of quiet time, which is fantastic, and I\u2019m not doing all that daydreaming about Little Browne that I had been doing. I think part of the reason is because I feel calm and at peace, I don\u2019t feel all hectic and discombobulated. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0With so many people telling us that our life is going to be over, that we\u2019re not going to sleep for two years, that our \u201cfun lifestyle\u201d is gone for good, and we won\u2019t be traveling for years\u2026it screws with you, but I had a little epiphany\u2026this is OUR life and we will decide how it will be. Just because other people let their kids rule their days, doesn\u2019t mean that\u2019s what we have to do. As obvious as this is, actually realizing that gave me a nice sense of calm. Sure, things will be hard sometimes but guess what? Things are hard sometimes now\u2026that\u2019s just life.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As we\u2019re hurtling through this home stretch I\u2019m quite content with how things are going. More importantly I am still blown away with just how gracefully Annie has been handling this process\u2026still doing CrossFit 3 or 4 days per week, eating healthy, and truly embracing the pregnancy and enjoying the miracle. <\/span><\/p>\n
