Have you noticed that A LOT of people sound the same online? There are so many experts and gurus saying the same thing over and over again, the only difference is their voice, or writing abilities. I think it’s a very good idea to step away from time to time and ignore the current person standing on the soap box and formulate your own, special ideas and opinions. It’s so easy to get caught up in the excess of information, but it’s crucial to take time for your own brain.<\/p>\n
Last point, (I know I’ve talked about this before) I’m amazed that people want to take, or accept, the name guru or expert; social media\/ social networking, etc., is changing EVERY single day right now. There are many intelligent people, many forward thinkers, and many insightful folks out there but in my humble opinion those that are REALLY good are too smart to accept the label of guru or expert.
