In my lifetime I\u2019ve seen door to door salesmen, telemarketers, junk mail (via your physical mailbox), email spam\/ junk mail, etc. I was thinking about this because last night a pest control company came to our door telling us that they would be serving 16 other homes in our neighborhood and that they were offering a group discount. My wife said no thanks because we already have a guy that takes care of that, they then asked if we were happy with our guy and if he did all that we wanted him to do; my wife said we were happy with our guy and that was that.It just irritated me a bit because in today\u2019s world we are all so busy, so to have a person come by at 6 or 7 p.m. on my time just made me wonder what they were thinking. I would rather have a spam email than have someone show up at my door in the evening. I\u2019ve noticed we don\u2019t have door to door salesmen or telemarketers nearly as often as we use to (at least at our home); so I am appreciative of that. We are now bombarded with spam emails as well as MASS marketing via every single website you visit.<\/p>\n
