In business we have a choice between building competition or building community. In regards to competition, I do believe it\u2019s healthy and it keeps everyone on their toes so to speak. On the other hand, if you choose not to compete with another business that does similar things, and instead build a community with them; what would the outcome be? If I own a printing company and decide to build a community of printing companies, what would happen?<\/p>\n
You could choose to team with other printing companies that each offer slightly different services, that way you\u2019re not directly stepping on any toes. You could choose to team with printing companies that all do the same thing but only allow the best of the best to be in this community. There would be numerous ways to do this, I just think the idea of building a community in your industry instead of competing with them can help business and industry knowledge.<\/p>\n
Besides, if you\u2019re truly good at what you do, it isn\u2019t the competition that makes you better necessarily, it\u2019s the constant innovation, research, and study of your industry that makes you better. The desire to be on the leading edge, the best in your industry, and to completely satisfy your customers are the drivers to success; not competition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
