They educate us to be a mindless mass of people that are happy being given a number instead of a name and then they proceed to do all the David Copperfield smoke and mirrors to keep us \u201cbusy\u201d over here while they rob us and manipulate us into submission. There\u2019s a solution to all of this, YOU, US, WE!! We as individuals need to stand up and take accountability for our own actions. We need to use this valuable time we\u2019ve been given wisely. We need to give ourselves the gift of learning, loving, and living instead of the bullshit goal of \u201ckeeping up with the Jones\u2019\u201d. As corny as it is, we need to strive every second of every day to live our maximum quality of life.<\/p>\n
My belief is once the masses start doing that, the world will change. When we realize how important the journey is and stop focusing on the \u201cmore is never enough\u201d mentality, the change will start. But guess what, even if the change doesn\u2019t happen around us WE will be living a better life because we made the change within us.
