I\u2019m sure, like most people, you have.<\/p>\n<p>What I\u2019ve realized from my life experience, thinking endlessly about how to improve the short time we are here, and reading other peoples view points on such things, is this: without attachment and purpose we, as humans, often run into the \u201cwhat in the hell am I doing here\u201d question bouncing off the inner walls of our brains.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAttached purpose\u201d is something we need to feel fulfilled, needed, and accepted. To be attached to something; be it a community, your work place, friends, family, political party, religion, clubs, and so on, is what we as humans crave. To feel that belonging and to be surrounded with other humans on this journey gives us attachment.<\/p>\n<p>Purpose is what motivates us, whether it is a passion for saving animals or desire to be the best concert pianist; purpose motivates and gives us validity. Without this we tend to wander, mentally and physically, without true direction. Purpose is the driving force for why we get up in the morning to meet the day ahead.<\/p>\n<p>I still drift in and out of it, which I think we all do, but having explored what I\u2019m attached to and not attached to, as well as finding my purpose (passions) truly has landed me in a far more peaceful place. Life is too short to beat around the bush, hang out with people you don\u2019t like, work somewhere that makes you miserable, or stay in a relationship that makes you want to throw up.<\/p>\n<p>Choose to live with attached purpose and life instantly gets better!!
