I really just wanted this to serve as a reminder that life is short and we should cherish all of our waking moments. As I got to thinking more about this the thoughts turned to specific examples in my life recently in which I could have made a left turn but I made a right turn instead, in the attempt to \u201ccherish all of our waking moments\u201d. I will say however, that I am not perfect but my journey will always be about striving to be better than I was yesterday.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had situations come up with my painting business in the past six months (now resolved, for the most part), as well as a few other issues that have all been cause for sleepless nights\u2026if I allow them to be that BIG. And from my perspective, I will not let others decide my fate or my mood, or my destiny for that matter.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve realized that I truly am the core decision maker for MY life, it is my reaction to things that will choose the path I travel and not those \u201cthings\u201d that are being placed in front of me. Life is about the actions and reactions that YOU make, not anyone else. We own our perception, our opinion, our perspectives, and our choices going forward!!! That is all there is to it!<\/p>\n

It is our time, to regain control of us and our lives, as well as make the right decisions toward designing our lives to be what WE want them to be, not what we allow others to corral us in to. This journey is indeed about ownership and accountability, about action and reaction\u2026and simply, it is about choices. YOU choose or others will choose for you!
