Yesterday I posted<\/a> about being able to ask for help to get where you want to go, well, truth is I\u2019m horrible at it and another truth is I was going to write about this today anyways\u2026so it\u2019s funny that it came up on Twitter. Brandie ( @lttlewys ) and I were chatting, she asked how my changes were going, I responded, and then the scary statement came\u2026 \u201choller at me if you need some help ;-)\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u00a0My response to Brandie was, \u201cI appreciate that, I’m always bad at asking for help cuz I don’t know what i need..lol\u201d. This is what I\u2019ve done my whole life, pass it off and move on. Again, back to the reason for this post, I am not only trying to change my career, but I\u2019ve also been on a quest to live MY life and not the life dictated by society, the media, or anyone else.<\/p>\n

My goal with this post is not necessarily to ask for help, it\u2019s more to let you know a little bit more about me but in return I\u2019d like to get to know more about you. At the end of the day, we are on this journey together and the art of engagement, lending a helping hand, and reciprocating should be part of our daily lives.<\/p>\n

So here we go: my hope it to be able to work remotely for the most part although I love face to face engagement and interaction. I love to think, write, use all these new media and social media tools, strategize, brainstorm, talk to people to learn their stories, photography, learning, drinking wine and all that comes with the wine world, traveling, different cultures, and so on.<\/p>\n

I want to help people, as well as businesses (especially wineries), stretch, grow, and evolve into what they want to be and what they need to be. We are in a mobile, social, and collaborative world and the possibilities are positively endless. Using the tools mentioned throughout this post, as well as in the \u201cNeed Help?\u201d tab on my blog, I want to facilitate growth in a social, healthy, and sustainable way.<\/p>\n

The bottom line: The business we\u2019ve started is in social media marketing and strategy (with an emphasis on research, implementation, and relationships), but is similar to an onion in that there are many different layers as you may guess from all the info here and on the other tabs at the top of my blog. Thanks for checking this out, but now I\u2019d like to know what you need help with. Maybe I can help, maybe I know someone that can, or maybe none of the above\u2026but it\u2019s worth a shot, right?<\/p>\n
