Some Gnarly Head Zin and a Cigar

September 23, 2010 matt 2 Comments

A glass of red wine and a cigar sounded like a great idea…so we headed out onto the back deck with all of the above.  The wine was an ’08 Gnarly Head Old Vines Zinfandel, Hoot’s cigar was a Savinelli and Annie’s was an Acid Red Camaroon.  Sometimes, you just have to mix it up and try different combos!  Have to say, the wine was okay, which was fine considering the price point was about $10.  The cigars were great, and who’s to say that the cigar didn’t have an affect on the wine?  Not us!  The whole point is to try stuff, right?
Hoot just happened to get a call from our favorite radio personality, Adam Monteil at Q104.5, Up and Adam in the Morning, right in the middle of the video….check it out…it’s real life wine tasting at its best!

Loved your video, my friend sent me a coupon from the newspaper for Gnarly Head a few months ago, I bought it at BevMo and have found it since then at Target and Costco. It was pretty tasty at the time but we haven’t bought any since. Loved the extra appearance of Up and Adam that was cool, thanks for sharing your unedited video. Have a great day. Cheers!

Hi Bev! Glad you loved it…we had a good time with that one. I’m so glad Target is selling wine and beer now. Makes it that much more of a one-stop shop! Cheers, to you too!!!
