Stanger + Music = Good Times!

October 3, 2011 matt Leave a Comment

On our recent visit to Poalillo Vineyards we found out that Stanger Vineyards now pours their wine on the property as well. They have an east side of Paso Robles location, but wanted something on the west side…and where better than Poalillo!

What’s on the Stanger tasting list? Well, we’ll tell ya: a 2007 Tempranillo, 2007 Stanger Bench Cuvee (63% Cab Sauv, 31% Syrah, 6% Tempranillo), 2006 Syrah, and a 2005 Cab Sauv.

Interesting list of wines, great story behind the wine, and an unbelievable place to hang out…right on Vineyard Dr., the Rodeo Dr. Of Paso Robles wines!!

There’s no way to taste all the Vineyard Dr. Wines in one day, let alone one week…it’s like Disneyland for adults, where to start? This facility is amazing, and to have two wineries pouring is that whole “double your pleasure” thing, you won’t be disappointed!

In addition to Stanger, Poalillo also provides live music…by none other than Dave Garretson, co-owner (along with his wife Susan) of Poalillo Vineyards.  We included a video of Dave playing, for your viewing and listening pleasure!

Check it out peeps…there is more to wine tasting than just tasting wine. Chat with the tasting room attendants, chat with the other tasters, learn the story/ history of the winery…there isn’t a better community to be part of than the wine community!!

Here’s our interview with Roger of Stanger Vineyards:
