Memorial Day Thoughts and Reflections

May 28, 2012 matt Leave a Comment

It’s Memorial Day, we hope you all have a fun and festive day with family and friends…but a few quick thoughts.

– “Happy” Memorial Day seems unfitting yet I’ve always said that.

– Everyone should be safe today…use a designated driver if you choose to drink.

Everyday should be Memorial Day…the notion that we can “remember and honor” the men and women that choose to put their life on the line for me, for Annie, for our unborn son, and for you just once a year or ten times a year is not okay. They deserve our support and care year round. My personal thought is that this country got better at showing this after 9/ 11 but we can always improve even more.

So have a great day and be safe, and if the opportunity arises…thank a soldier!
