Where to Eat in Paso Robles: Paso Terra

April 11, 2019 matt Leave a Comment

Believe it or not, we have never eaten at Paso Terra in downtown Paso Robles. We recently fixed this problem and went for dinner after talking to our friend, Lyndsay, who works there.

Here’s what we ordered and shared:

Blue Crab Cakes: 2 cakes served with market greens and Cajun sauce. $15.00

Escargot in Garlic Butter $14.00

Sand Dabs Meuniere: lemon, butter parsley. $25.00

Mixed Seafood Grill: scallops, shrimp, branzino, swordfish with Harissa sauce. $36.00

I’ve got absolutely nothing negative to say. The food was phenomenal. And get this, Sammy (our 6 year old boy) even ate some of everything we ordered…including the escargot! We got a big thumbs up from him on each dish.

The restaurant is small and quaint with a patio to dine on when the weather is fitting. They are located on Pine Street across from Hotel Cheval.

The service was awesome. Thank you to Lyndsay as well as the co-owner, Christina, for the hospitality. Of course, we need to thank Chef Andre and his crew for the amazing food! I’m definitely putting this on our list of go-to spots. So, stop reading and go eat!
