Where to Drink: Oak and Otter Brewing Co. in San Luis Obispo

February 20, 2020 matt Leave a Comment

Oak and Otter Brewing Co. was another new joint to us. We went a few weeks back after Sammy’s flag football game at Cal Poly. I had never heard of it but Annie somehow found it. It’s off of Tank Farm Road in San Luis Obispo.

I didn’t go in with any expectation but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a small, casual spot with a mellow vibe. The day we were there, it was definitely family friendly and there were a couple of good-sized groups.

We enjoyed the beers we had. I don’t remember what Annie had but I had the Otter Blonde and the Kolsch. Good stuff. They also serve wine and even better…they serve food, too! We did not eat there since we had eaten prior to going. Next time we go in we will check the food out.

Go check them out and let us know what you think.

Side note: The day/ time we went here, we had just found out that Kobe Bryant (along with his daughter and the others) died in a helicopter crash. So, we were kind of out of it.
