Moonstones, Waves, and Seagulls

June 27, 2011 matt 4 Comments

All are plentiful in Cambria, right at the ocean front, one of our favorite cool retreats from Paso Robles during the summer months.  And when we say “cool” we mean temperature.  When it’s in the middle of the heat of summer, Paso Robles will reach well over 100 degrees and if you make the quick 30 minute drive over to the coast, you’ll find temperatures from the 50’s to the 70’s!  It’s pretty amazing, actually.

So, one of the best spots, in our opinion, is called the Moonstone Beach Bar and Grill, looking right at the waves!  They’re situated along Moonstone Beach Drive and have inside and outside seating.  You can sit at the edge of their patio and look right out at the waves.  It’s a beautiful spot!  Take a walk along the beach when you’re done eating to get the whole coastal experience.

Every time we’ve been to Moonstone Bar and Grill, we’ve had great service (we’re really big on that), and good food.  It’s consistently terrific each time!  Go check them out…you can find some great wine tasting rooms not far in the downtown Cambria area, too!

Moonstone Beach, ahhh, one of our all-time favorite places. We’ve always had good service and yummy food at Moonstone Beach bar & grill too. Yummy chowder and a great place to watch the sun set on Moonstone Beach. It’s an excellent place to go after an afternoon of harvesting jasper and moonstones from the beach. 🙂
