The Art of Wine…

April 19, 2010 matt 6 Comments

The Paso Robles Downtown Wineries, in conjunction with Studios on the Park, (http://www.studiosonthepark.org/) put on an event that showcased both of their “arts”.  Located right on the Park in downtown, the art studios are open to the public and encourage people to come in and enjoy the artistic process.  The downtown wineries make up a group of 18 tasting rooms within walking distance of the Park.  Together, they throw a pretty good party.  There was great food, wonderful wines, live music and good conversation.  Each winemaker paired up with an artist to create a unique piece of art that then got auctioned off at the event.  The turnout to the event was a little lower than they expected, but we’re sure that in the years to come more and more people will be attending.
