Out at Penman Springs Vineyard

May 5, 2010 matt 2 Comments

Penman Springs Vineyard is a family owned and operated joint, and has a fun little tasting room!  http://www.penmansprings.com/.  It’s a funky little house full of character and some great things to peruse while you taste through their list.  The wines were great, and the people were awesome!  In fact, Rosie, our lovely wine pourer, was a kick to chat with and she even gave us some great grilling advice.  Oh yeah, and they had fresh bread out to dip in their flavored grapeseed oils and vinegars.

We visited Penman Springs last year on Harvest weekend. Great wines, nice artisan cheese and bread to try with some of their dipping oils, incredible views from this location!! Left with a bottle of the basil-garlic grapeseed oil…excellent! Definately a place to be revisited. 🙂
