We wanted to explain why we’re doing what we’re doing!  It’s all about the wine, you, your palate, and your opinion!  This one can speak for itself…

I loved your Public Service Announcement. I totally agree with you I do not like harsh critics….aren’t they called wine snobs… Your blog is for enjoyment, entertainment and finding new places in Paso Robles for the public to visit. Life is short, drink (in moderation) and be happy. Keep up the good work. Cheers!

Glad you agree, Beverly! We’re definitely here for entertainment and learning purposes! Somebody’s got to drink all this good Paso Robles wine, right???

NIcely said. Your point about the personal context and situation in which wine is presented and enjoyed is spot on.

Thank you, Jeff. Funny how much wine can change on a person-by-person basis…and how much environment and other factors can effect it, too! Cheers!!!

Good job guys! Just want to add that at a recent wine marketing seminar, the representative from Wine Spectator magazine stated the only way they would rate someones wine is if they advertised in the magazine. How’s that for wine discrimination? I love that you are not wine critics. I never drink wine based on what a wine critic says, just like I never see a movie based on what a movie critic says. Keep drinking wine for the people!

Hi Gina! Wow…that’s crazy about Wine Spectator, not really conducive to learning more about wine, huh? As for being a critic, I think there’s enough of those out there, we’d rather get outside of the box and learn!

Right on you two. I completely agree with everything you had to say. For example I never thought I would say this but I have found a very nice box wine that I enjoy very much, French Rabbit Chardonnay is quite delicious but I am sure that the “wine critics” would disagree wholeheartedly with me. Keep up the good work. Love you Annie. Your friend Katexx
