D'Anbino Vineyards and Cellars

August 11, 2010 matt 6 Comments

Considered one of the “Downtown” tasting rooms…this is a super cool place!  They’re in the train station center, about 3 blocks south of the square and the tasting room is one of those places that you’d just want to hang out and relax in.  The best part about that is, you’ll often get to hang out and relax while there’s live music playing on their stage!  The family has long-seeded roots in the music and film industry and they love to get together to play on occasion, they also invite others in to play so you can find live music in their tasting room every Saturday.  This is a family run place, and you’ll often find a spread of authentic Italian food, and several members of the family pouring your wines in between sets on the stage.

Their wines range from Sauvignon Blanc, to Rose, to Syrah, red blends, and a great Cabernet Sauvignon, produced sustainably.  Oh, and don’t forget the port-style wine, paired with a cigar right out of Carmine’s humidor!  So, grab a glass, lounge out on the couch and enjoy the show!

Yeah, very fun place, Bev! And a great little walk…unless it’s 105 degrees out, but it’s been a very mild summer, so it works out very well!

First time, saw “Groovething” there. Killer band. Good wines. Nice folks, unique room that sounds good acoustically. What a concept. Looking forward to returning.
