Artisan MNS, with Stephanie from Happy Acres

January 26, 2011 matt 5 Comments

This is the last (but definitely not least!) of our Monday Night Supper series with Artisan Restaurant in Paso Robles. In this video we capture the amazingly hilarious Stephanie Simonin with Happy Acres Family Farms, which was the farm highlighted on this particular Monday night. You can tell she’s a farm girl based on her “farm shoes”…or not!

Artisan’s Chef, Chris prepared a dinner menu using the Happy Acres goat cheeses and paired those dishes with Silver Horse wines, all to create an awesome dinner! Happy Acres does some awesome things; from goat cheese to fresh produce to skin care products made from goat’s milk. We’ve been out to the facility before and really enjoyed hanging out, Annie milked a goat which was pretty fun for Hoot to watch…just sayin’.

One last time: a big thank you to Jen Bravo, Shandi & Chris Kobayashi, Mike Kobayashi, and Stephanie Simonin.

Great interview, I want to go there and take their tour of the grounds, milk their goat that would be so much fun. I’ve never tasted goat milk but I want to try it when we go (someday). I would also like to try their lotions, and the new restaurant that carrys their cheese in SLO too. Check out their website and video.

Ohhhhhh Bev, you’re in for a treat! Stephanie will take you on a tour, let you milk the goats, mix your own cheese, etc. The lotions are fantastic, and the goats are hilarious! As you can see, Stephanie is quite a character! She’ll show you a good time for sure!

Bev, I have the Cranberry Fig lotion and love it! (This is Annie, by the way…Hoot doesn’t like figs 🙂 ). Let Stephanie know that we said “Hi”. You’ll have to let us know what you think!!!
