Terry Hoage Vineyards

February 8, 2011 matt 8 Comments

The property struck us as an example of a classic Paso Robles vineyard property. Once you get out the dirt road to the bottom of the Terry Hoage Vineyards property, the beautiful, rustic exterior of the tasting room greets you. As you head up the driveway you are surrounded by vineyards and the infamous rolling hills of Paso.

Terry Hoage Tasting Room

As you can see, the exterior is just amazing…possibly in our top five of beautiful tasting rooms with its rustic charm. The interior is great, not rustic like the outside but warm and inviting for sure.

The wines…simply put were amazing!  We got to taste things like a Grenache, a Grenache blend, their “5 Blocks” GSM-style blend; all Rhone varieties and all unique, complex and delicious!  This was definitely a great place to taste delicious wines that show off what the Paso Robles AVA and its top notch winemakers are capable of producing!

Some of my favorite Paso wines come out of this winery. Very good, very consistant.

Hey Gary! We really did like the wines quite a bit! Very complex and delicious…and the scenery was pretty easy on the eyes! Cheers!

I love the rustic barnyard look of the winery. Yet another winery whose wines I have not yet tried… Thanks for the look.
