Want Some Angus With That Wine?

March 7, 2011 matt 3 Comments

If you haven’t heard of Oso Libre Winery, it’s time you did! A beautiful spot out Vineyard Drive in Paso Robles that not only has stunning scenery and a great selection of terrific wine, but they have angus as well. That’s right, wine club members can purchase Black Angus beef grown right there on the property.

They also have sheep roaming through the fields and vineyard, which is part of their big focus on sustainability and the environment (they are SIP certified- Sustainability in Practice). The family owned and operated winery also has a really cool tasting room (as you’ll see in the video) and a great patio area to sit and sip that overlooks the vineyard.

Check out the video to see the tasting room and the view outside…and let ‘em know Hoot n Annie sent you!!

Here’s the video we did outside last time we visited Oso Libre!

Enjoy the scenery…

Hi Bev, yeah, it’s beautiful out there and they’re SIP certified, which means that they “Sustainable in Practice”. The sheep are part of all that, and it’s pretty cool that Oso Libre is open-minded and aware enough to implement such respectable practices!
