Earth Day Food & Wine Festival; Our Farewell Video

May 10, 2011 matt Leave a Comment

We recently posted a video from Chamisal Vineyards Tasting Room in San Luis Obispo…now we have an exclusive and exciting interview we did with Brette Womack, the Assistant Manager at Chamisal, while we were at Earth Day Food & Wine Festival.

As we said in the previous Chamisal post, they have a great list of wines and a fantastic tasting room atmosphere…this is one of those tasting rooms where the people that work there really do make it a great experience. They also have a gorgeous outdoor seating area…you will probably catch us out there this summer from time to time!!

Back to Earth Day…Chamisal was “pouring” a Chardonnay and a Pinot Noir out of these mini stainless keg-type things, interesting indeed. To go with the sustainable theme of EDFW11, the use of stainless keg cuts down on using resources like bottles, corks, labels, etc.  Super great idea, and just cool overall!

Chamisal has great wines and Brette is super cool, so check out the video. And next year, you have to hit up Earth Day Food & Wine Festival…but between now and then, go check out Chamisal!!
