Life is a series of overlapping and interwoven micro chapters, all within the main chapters of the ongoing saga (so to speak). The day you started Twitter was the start of a micro chapter that then turned into a chapter. The day you meet that person that later becomes your spouse, another micro chapter that becomes a chapter. All these events are overlapping, changing, evolving, and they run together to make this rather seamless story of your life.
Each and every day, hell, each and every hour we are starting new chapters and ending old ones. And most of the time we are so hung up in ourselves that we don’t notice these often subtle little changes in our lives that could lead to something amazingly fantastic. Getting into a fender bender makes us moan and groan about how horrible our life is but what if….what if that moment had to happen to change your course in life? This is why I’m becoming a proponent of attempting to ALWAYS be positive (hopefully not in that annoying pollyana way though).
We need to be mindful, we need to listen and be aware, observe, and move forward with a positive “I can make this work” attitude. You simply never know what micro chapter is about to start, or end, so enjoy each and every moment…good AND bad. Allow these moments to push you, to motivate you, to educate you…that is our purpose here. Allowing moments to hold you back and keep you down seems to be a waste of time, of life. When was the last time negativity brought something good into your life?
Imagine having the ability to slow moments down and enjoy them more; we can through appreciation and “marinating in the moment” if you will. Imagine being able to find the positive in each scenario we find ourselves in; we can…via an attitude adjustment and change of perspective. You get ONE chance to do this thing called life, what can you do to not only make YOUR life amazing for YOU, but what can you do to positively affect your network…and humanity?
