I am so ridiculously sick of ass kissing. This crap goes on constantly in life, and a shit ton more in social media channels. Stop being a groupie and start doing your own damn thing!!
The idea that so many people strive to be like “this person” is such an utter waste of life. Why would you want to be Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Bill Clinton, George Bush, Chris Brogan, Scott Stratten, Brian Solis, or anyone else? You were put here for one reason…to be YOU!
Why is that such a scary proposition to so many people? Are they weak minded? Do they think their words and ideas don’t contain value? Why on Earth would you trade your time here away?
Stop comparing your online “Klout” score to Chris Brogan or your off line “Clout” score to Lady Gaga…you aren’t them, and thankfully you aren’t. Live your life and learn to spread your message, your ideas…YOUR value.
It’s so disappointing that you are giving up your life chasing something that you cannot achieve…and the only thing you can’t achieve is being someone else!! Write your blog for you, be politically incorrect or correct because that is who YOU are. You can eat cereal for dinner if you want but don’t do it because Gary Vaynerchuk or Stevie Wonder do it…do it because it’s what YOU feel the desire to do.
Please, for the love of all things Holy and un-Holy…live YOUR life and stop living “UP” to “THAT” person. “That” person doesn’t give a damn about you!!
