Sculptures, Charity and Wine! Welcome to Paso Robles…

April 5, 2011 matt 5 Comments

We ventured out in the middle of moving…well, it was actually a needed break to DRINK!! Where did we end up? Good question…we thought we would attend the Team Vino Vice Relay for Life event that they call Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate!!

The event was held at Sculpterra Winery, known not just for their wines, but also for the statues that adorn the grounds…simply beautiful! And when we say beautiful…we mean it is a MUST see, awesome, amazing, unique spot here in Paso!

But the most important thing is to throw big kudos to Team Vino Vice for organizing such a great event for such a phenomenal cause!!

If you happen to like wine, cheese, or chocolate even a little bit, they had tons of each! All spread out over the grounds at Sculpterra…over 25 wineries pouring their juice, several food vendors with tasty bites of cheese and chocolate, an auction, and a whole garden full of sculptures.

NICE!!!

Hoot this is not about this blog. My schedule has taken a major change. When Marcy and I were heading to Canada for a week of huckstering we discovered a fuel leak in the plane. Taxied back and called the mechanic. He drove up from SLO and said do not fly until the plane has had time to ventelate. It might blow you out of the sky. I tried to get Marcy to take it on a testflight, but see had two valid reasons not to. She doesn’t have a pilots license , and she’s not as dumb as I look.
So I will be around this weekend and have decided to BBQ on Sat. from noon to 3:30. It’s the only burnt meat I wanted to smell this week. So if your in the area and free drop in the food is free too.

Wow, Gary! You didn’t have to go to all that dangerous trouble just to BBQ for us! But we’re glad you did…and glad that Marcy is a sharp lady! We’ll do our best to get out there on Saturday to be sure the meat is burnt properly! Cheers!!!
