The Paso Robles wine country has a group of wineries a little north east of town that identify themselves as on “The Pleasant Valley Wine Trail”. What used to be called Judd Family is now called J&J Cellars, and that’s where we ended up http://www.jjcellars.com/. Located on a beautiful piece of land looking out over rolling vineyards, this place is a great find. They’ve got a freshly built tasting room that has lots of space to sip, wander, and browse through the cookbooks and wine trinkets. Their winemaker is Steve Anglim of Anglim Winery, so you know the wines are good…well we thought they were! Annie especially liked the French-style Chardonnay, and Hoot loved the Merlot. We both enjoyed the Zinfandel and the Petite Syrah.
