Last night, Friday, we got to go to the soft opening at the new location for Artisan restaurant. First off, the place was freakin’ packed!! Secondly…the joint looks absolutely amazing. I think the vibe is pretty eclectic, some nice soft, old world and almost rustic touches mixed with a little bit of “modern”, and some funky.Other than the new space the one thing that EVERYONE has been waiting for is that Artisan is now a full bar. The really cool thing is that they are doing classic drinks with a bit of flare. Annie and I each ordered two drinks from their cocktail menu and I must say all were quite good. I had not heard of many of these drinks and to be honest I hadn’t even heard of some of the ingredients in some of these drinks.The food menu was amazing as always, Annie and I shared two appetizers and one main dish. It was really cool to be there for the soft opening, thanks to Mike K. for the invite…we appreciate the hospitality, as always.
We don’t normally post anything on the weekend but thought we’d send this out today to pass on the info! The Grand Opening is tonight! Get to the new Artisan spot and enjoy the awesome view of the downtown park while sipping on concoctions from their all new full bar!!
In the slideshow below you’ll see some pictures from inside the new big bar as well as the food and drinks we had. I didn’t take any photos in the main dining area because I didn’t want to intrude on folks eating dinner. Next time we’re in there on “date night” I will be sure to take some though.
