January 2015 is SLO County Restaurant Month

December 23, 2014 matt Leave a Comment

I ask you this, what better way to start 2015 than having a focus on great food? The holidays will be ending and Restaurant Month starts January 2nd at participating restaurants all over San Luis Obispo County. You will be able to get special prix-fixe menus ranging from two to four courses at $30 to $45 per person.

It’s a great time to get to those restaurants you have yet to visit or revisit the ones you’ve really enjoyed in the past. Either way, who wants to cook after all the Thanksgiving and Christmas business? We don’t. It’s the perfect time to get out and try some new dishes, support the local restaurant industry, and leave your kitchen and dishwasher behind.

Check out this link here to see which restaurants are participating as well as which wineries in SLO County are involved this year. I want to hear back from you about your experience. So yes, in a way this is homework. It is your duty to get out there. Let me know which places you go to and what your thoughts on your experience were. I dare ya!

Side notes:

Reservations are recommended. Days of offerings vary per restaurant and you can find that information on the link above as well.
