Thomas Hill Organics Kicks Off Its First ‘Table To Farm’ Dinner
at Windrose Farm on March 20
Guests will tour the farm, meet the growers, enjoy top Central Coast wines, and dine on a gourmet feast prepared by THO chefs, using the farm’s freshest foods.
March 7, 2016 (Paso Robles, Ca) – Thomas Hill Organics Bistro & Wine Bar’s award-winning menus are founded on one deliciously simple rule: Work closely with the best growers in the Central Coast, whether they’re farming vegetables or Rhône grape varietals.
To shine a spotlight on these talented farmers and wine growers, and the glorious bounty they have long provided Thomas Hill Organics, we’re taking our tables to the local farms we love in this once-a-season dinner series.
Called Table To Farm, our first feast will be held March 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the stunningly beautiful Windrose Farm. Tucked in a unique valley of 50 acres outside Paso Robles, this organic farm (soon to be 100% biodynamic) owned by Bill & Barbara Spencer has become legendary for its unique and flavorful “specialty” vegetable varieties, which for years have been a favorite of the Thomas Hill Organics chefs.
The dinner at Windrose will begin with a tour of the farm led by the Spencers, then culminate with a gourmet feast on their picturesque grounds. Our chefs will be using Windrose’s freshest ingredients, and the dishes will be paired with the best local wines selected by our sommelier, creating the ultimate Central Coast wine-and-food experience.
Our summer Table to Farm dinner will be held at Adelaida Springs Ranch July 9.
