Downtown Drinkin' at Kiamie

January 31, 2011 matt 6 Comments

Yeah, it’s hard not to go downtown during the weekend and not find a good reason to stop in to a tasting room. There are so many great places here in Paso Robles, that it’s just too damn tempting! Sooo, as we were out and about, we popped in to Kiamie Wine Cellars. A block or two off the downtown square, it’s the perfect location to slip in and taste some wine.

They’ve got a great list, mainly Rhone and Bordeaux blends. Something for everybody in there, from white to red to dessert wine! Ever had a Zinfandel blended in with some Grenache? Well, you can try the Kiamie R’Own Style Blend and it’s pretty tasty. How about a Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Syrah, Malbec and Zinfandel? Yeah, you can get that there, too! Just be sure to taste the Kiamie Kuvee. If you’re lucky, they’ll let you taste a couple of different vintages of the same wine, so you get an idea of where they were going with the wine over the years.

Great people, great wine, very cool location…check it out!!! And no, Annie’s teeth are NOT purple!!!

Consumption & action!!! There you go cracking me up again. Wish you would’ve gone inside & interviewed Greg or Aram. That would’ve been very entertaining.
Love you guys…keep up the hard work of being effective & efficient.
