Creekside Brewing: SLO Adventures, #18

June 6, 2012 matt Leave a Comment

As you know we love trying new places, as much fun as it is to go to Cheer’s where everyone knows your name, sometimes an unknown place where people could care less about you is fun too. Annie and I were in San Luis Obispo about a week and a half ago and decided to go in and try Creekside Brewing.

The main part of Creekside Brewing is up at street level but the bar is downstairs at creek level, but not like a river runs through it. Anyhoo…we bellied up to the bar where I proceeded to have a couple of beers and Annie had her Pregnant Drink…club soda with cranberry juice and a lime!

I ordered their California tacos and Annie got some kind of a turkey sandwich and I have to tell you…when it comes to the “beer food” or “pub food” they really knocked it out of the park in our opinion. Everything was right what we needed that day; the service was great, the food was good, the atmosphere was just right, and the cold beer went down easily…as per the usual!!

So next time you’re in downtown SLO be sure to check them out and as you’ll see in the short slideshow, then stop by the red Power Ranger and take a pic of yourself like we did…just don’t touch him inappropriately!
