Where to Eat: Fish Gaucho

May 14, 2019 matt Leave a Comment

Fish Gaucho is one of those restaurants here in Paso Robles that has a unique and distinct vibe. We’ve been coming here for as long as they’ve been open. It’s a great spot for amazing cocktails and great food created by Chef Chris Beckett.

Here’s what we ordered:

Sammy had – AHI CRUDO

raw sushi grade ahi + shaved cabbage + roasted garlic & onion crema + pickled peppers + morro bay avocado + shaved red onion + citrus-lime vinaigrette + fresh seasonal micro greens. served with crispy corn tostadillas. $16.00

Annie had – Scallop tacos that I do not believe was on the regular menu. Not sure what the price was.

I (Matt) had – BRAISED SHORT RIB (enchiladas)

our signature beef short rib + salsa ranchero + artisanal cheese + queso cotija diablo + fresh seasonal micro greens. $23.00

We really enjoyed the food, Sammy gobbled up the ahi crudo, as usual. It was nice to sit out on their patio and enjoy the great pastime of people watching. Nothing quite like it.

Another great foodie destination in downtown Paso Robles.
