Find yourself wondering what to make for Mother’s Day Brunch this year? Yeah, me too…so in my quest to find some tasty, yet healthy ideas I came across some killer recipes. I figured that I’d share with you, since you’re such nice people! Oh, and be sure to sip a mimosa too. After all, doesn’t your mom deserve it?!?!
Mother’s Day Brunch ideas:
– Cauliflower Hummus – with an assortment of veggies to dip in it. This stuff is incredibly tasty and makes a beautiful centerpiece surrounded by carrots, broccoli, celery, snap peas, peppers, whatever! Make you and your mom some and get busy smearin’ and dippin! (via Oh my Veggies)
– Bacon Egg Cups – yeah, that’s right! Not only is bacon the single most delicious food item in the world, it can morph into a basket to hold other tasty food items! You have to try this just so you can take pictures and post them all over Instagram and Pinterest! (via Tasty Kitchen)
– Guacamole Deviled Eggs – seriously, who doesn’t like deviled eggs? There’s something uncannily wonderful about them; it could be the easy-to-grasp shape, the sheer and obvious fact that they’re tasty eggs, or the fact that they remind you of your crazy Aunt Edna. Whatever it is, they’re pure magic. (via Cooking Stoned)
– Fruit! Yeah, just fruit…and lots of it! It’s the perfect time of year to throw out some serious fruit platters. Tons of good fruits are in season and looking good…so get you some! Oh, and did I mention that it’s good for you?!?!? (via me)
So, there you go, some great ideas for you to impress your mama. Give her a mimosa (did I mention mimosas already?) and hook her up with some good eats!
You may have noticed that my ideas are mainly Paleo-friendly…that’s right, I’m moving to a Paleo diet and loving it. You really can’t beat eating bacon and avocados all the time!
